Based in Dallas, we moved from San Francisco to start the company and build long-lasting, boots on the ground, relationships in Texas. We invest in multi-family and RV Park properties in the U.S. with a focus on Texas. We use various technology enablers including AI to give us a competitive advantage in understanding micro-market level trends and we use automation to source deals, allowing us to enhance returns for our investors. We dedicate ourselves to our investors with a personal touch.
Nick leads all aspects of Leone Real Estate Partners focusing on capital raising, investor relations, deal sourcing and asset management. Nick has 19+ years of commercial real estate experience as a Senior Asset Manager at one of the largest real estate owners in the world Nuveen Real Estate. At Nuveen Nick managed various asset classes, valued approximately at $1B including ~1000 units of Class A multifamily. After Nuveen, Nick headed up Asset Management nationally at Berkeley Partners, a value-add industrial fund based out of San Francisco managing 60 properties, 6M sqft valued at over $700M. Additionally, Nick sold 15 properties across the country including 5 in Texas. Leone RE Partners is focused exclusively on Multifamily and RV Parks. We closed 6 deals as a GP in 2021 bringing our total GP doors to 570. Nick received his BS in Finance/Information Systems at the University at Albany and his MS in Real Estate Finance at NYU.
8+ years of commercial real estate experience as Head of Property Management Governance overseeing 400+ investments across the US at TIAA/Nuveen Real Estate. As such, he was responsible for leading the company’s oversight of all third-party property managers and all Asset Transitions, Investment Reviews, Offshoring, Scorecards, Benchmarking, Compliance, Governance, Vendor and Capital programs. He also chaired the U.S. Multifamily and Commercial Property Management Councils. Mike received his BSBA and MBA from Northeastern University and LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt while at TIAA.
Marshall supports all aspects of the deal acquisition process including underwriting, negotiating, performing due diligence, and capital raising; and also is active in asset management. Marshall has 5+ years of real estate investing experience and is an active partner in ~500 units and passive in several hundred more. Previously Marshall was a member of Houlihan Lokey’s investment banking Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) Group where he executed sell side and capital raise mandates for clients. Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Marshall worked in Business Development and Marketing for Alibaba Group’s Tmall.com, where his responsibilities included working with international brands to reach Chinese consumers through China’s largest brands and retail platform. Prior to his time at Tmall.com, he was part of Alibaba Group’s International Business Development and Marketing team to attract and educate international buyers to conduct business on the world’s largest wholesale trade platform, Alibaba.com. Marshall holds a B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in Chinese from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
Mike is responsible for deal sourcing, underwriting, and investor relations at Leone Real Estate Partners. Mike has over 9 years of real estate experience, including professional roles in banking, real estate debt/equity investing, asset management, and property management. Mike has also been an active multi-family investor for the past 6 years and
passively for the past 9 years. Prior to Leone Real Estate Partners, Mike served as an AVP at Citigroup, where he underwrote over $500 MM of multifamily debt, in addition to overseeing the Freddie Mac lending process for Citigroup’s LIHTC affordable housing platform. Before Citigroup, he spent two years as a financial analyst at Starwood Property Trust. While in college, Mike also worked in property management for Education Realty Trust
(EDR), a publicly traded Student Housing REIT that was bought out by Greystar in 2018. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate and Finance from the Florida State University
